It's Friday and Halloween! My week in review..

This week was very busy. Not only did I have school and work but on Wednesday I had to have 2 of my wisdom teeth out.. Yuck! Eating liquid foods has not been very fun. But its friday and Halloween and even though I can't eat the leftover candy I am excited to hand it out to all the little kiddos. Anyways I've also been very busy because I have been trying to get my Studio Instagram and Pinterest up and going in addition to creating and adding new items to my etsy shop.

Check out my newest item...

How cute is this? Perfect gift for any football loving family!

I also went shopping last night to get some crafting supplies for the weekend.

Any guesses what I'll be making this week with these items?

I LOVE fall!

Fall is my favourite season. I love everything about it, the colours, the cold crisp air, pumpkins, and the scents of fall. I came across a recipe for a gingerbread body scrub and when I made it, it of course smelt like gingerbread but because of the cinnamon and nutmeg it also smelt a lot like fall- making me love it even more. It is so easy to make and it makes the perfect homemade Christmas gift as well.

Here's my tutorial- but feel free to change anything it is so versatile.

So to start you will need:
2 tsp Nutmeg
2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Ginger
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Oil (Olive or Coconut will work)

Add all the dry ingredients together and slowly add the oil breaking up any chunks.

Now all you need to do is add to an air tight jar and you're done! Easy as that. It can be stored for up to 6 months!!

I used  a mason jar and made the label using my Cricut and vinyl. And to make it look really great as a Christmas girl add some pretty ribbon. Your friends will love it.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to email me allisoncdale@gmail.com- I love to hear from fellow crafters!

Thanks for stopping by,

Allison
